Freetransform Records was founded during the autumn of 2001, then
officially registered as a company in february 2002. We were the first
label in Norway to fully concentrate on just releasing psychedelic
trance and ambient. We aim to release alot of good psychedelic music
that pleases our ears, and hopefylly yours too. In addition to
releasing music, we also arrange parties, and do services/projects
within music/sound production in our studio. Phasephour was the first
artist to be released on Freetransform Records. The duo, consisting of
Eldar von Essen and John Robert Egeland, represent a slightly different
way of making highly psychedelig trance. Their way of combining the
shattering hard beats with the pumping basslines, psychedelic effects,
tweaky sounds and melodies has been very well recieved among a lot of
dj's and party goers. The responses from live gigs around have been
just amazingly massive, so if you are in the need of a liveact that
rocks your party, you won't be dissapointed if booking PhasePhour to
your event. Under the alias of "Skjeggemannen" you find Marius Sortland
Myklebust, the label manager and label dj. He has been dj'ing since
1995, and has developed good skills for mixing during these years. He
has also guested Sweden severeal times, and have also had the joy an
pleasure to play in both Peru and Mexico also. While dj'ing at parties
his favourit style to play is ambient and chillout, and for as many
hours possible. A shure thing to be played in his sets is dubplates of
the PhasePhour Ambient Sessions. Besides managing the label, and dj'ing
at parties he also has different other music projects like "Åndedrag"
(ambient) and "Allied Forces" (drum'n'bass).
