Next to the label and studio work Peter gives frequent live performances as "Kode IV" at SF's local trance events as well as on International Festivals and Parties all over the world. Now nearly 6 years later , Ceiba's head- and heartquarters have found a new home on SF's buzzing Lower Haight. where Ceiba Store at 463 Haight is not only a clothing and art gallery, but also the home for Ceiba Records and Music Studios. A retail space for independent clothing designers from the San Francisco area, the beautiful store also receives work from gifted travellers in jewelry and fashion design. Stocking the latest work from FLOW and SUPERFREAK_the fashion is on for the summer! We are expecting new work from CRYSTAL TARA, MARI LUCI, and TWISTED TRAVELLERS. Ceiba's mission is to create and offer sonic-visual manifestations of that evolving techno-organic energy that is the juice of life for a growing global community of artists, dancers, trancers, seekers and open-minded/hearted people. Ceiba Records is managed by Peter Ziegelmeier- all visual, graphic and web work for Ceiba Records is created by Tina Zimmermann. Before Ceiba there were only a few people in California even aware of psy-trance, a core group of travellers, loosly organized around the CCC collective, infected by the goa-vibe, started to organize underground trance parties in San Francisco.

Peter, as Kode IV, had been an early producer of electronic music in the US for several years, evolving from the Industrial techno towards more psychedelic sound in the early 90's. Peter, Goa Gil and Ariane were pioneers of trance music production in America, when they started to produced together in 1992. At that time Peter was signed as Kode IV at a Belgian label, but wanted to regain his artistic freedom- thus in 1996 Peter, then with Adam Ohana and Jonas Judd) created the independent label Ceiba Records to open a platform for psychedelic trance in the US.

Tina Zimmermann is a visual artist, working mainly in digital media,video and sculpture. She finsihed an Master of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Art at SF State University and since then she is specializing in Digital Art and Event Visuals. She has created Indoor and Outdoor projection-environments in Europe and the US, including work at Voov Experience, Loveparade Berlin, Solipse, Zambia, Burning Man USA.
